Pop-Up Apology

Just a quick note to apologise to any of you getting a horribly annoying pop up from this blog.

Apparently some third party script I had in my template had been hijacked.

Very annoying, but gone now

Green Wing The Complete Series 1 Scripts out 22 October 2006

Get ready to jump aboard the out-of-control hospital trolley that is "Green Wing"! This BAFTA-winning, genre-defying, Channel 4 comedy continues to prove medical issues needn't interfere with everyday hospital life. This surreal show features a unique cast of characters: the endearing Dr. Caroline Todd; the wise-cracking, heartthrob surgeon, Dr. MacCartney; the lustful anaesthetist, Guy Secretan; the stammering, crazed radiologist, Alan Statham; the age-obsessed Head of HR, Joanna Clore; and the terrifying staff liaison officer, Sue White.

This book contains all the scripts from series 1, as well as bonus material and scores of photos.

320pp; £14.99 paperback. Available from all good high street bookshops, plus online from amazon and play.

Billy Sneddon

Here's a picture I found of the Editor Billy Sneddon, playing a tramp.

It was always a treat to see him out of the office.

I was up at Talkback today, and got my copy of the Series 1 DVD (and did a video interview for some web stuff, more tba)

If you haven't already pre-ordered it, get on a do it now. It's fabulous.

For fans of the show, the audio commentaries alone are reason to get a copy. They offer such great insight into the Production process, and even I've learnt stuff I never knew!
Show 1 commentary is by Editor extraordinaire Billy Sneddon, and creator Victoria Pile.

There's also loads of Extra Scenes and I cannot recommend it enough - really exciting stuff.

The commentary on Episode 9 is particularly good!
